Who doesn't like to get out and explore nature while riding a bike? I do for sure. But did you know that while enjoying the outside and riding, you are also staying healthy? I am going to explain the amazing benefits of riding your bike.
TONING-
Riding a bike at least 3 times a week is super good for toning loose muscle. Do you ever see someone, not just anyone, but I'm talking about the a fit person and wonder how there so toned.
There are many other ways to tone your body, but riding a bike is the faster way. You can start seeing results in over a month if you stay on it.
WEIGHT-
Riding a bike can burn up to 1,000 calories depending on how much you ride and how far you go. Which in my case, is a lot of calories gone to little waist again. Who would complain? Personally I ride my bike about 4 1/2 miles every chance I get.
MENTAL HEALTH-
That's right, anxiety, depression, or any other illness that plays a role in your mind, bike riding can help knock that right out. Bike riding can improve your mind and feelings just as well as keeping you focused. What better way to stop taking harmful medication for your mental health with just riding a bike? I can't argue with that.
I enjoy riding my bike. It helps me to stay focused on happy things, and stops me from worrying about the " What if's" .
CARDIO HEALTH-
What better way to get your heart to pumping then riding a bike? Science has proven over the years that bike riding has made it top of the line cardio work out. Getting them heart muscles to pumping, and lowering resting pulse rates while reducing fat levels, doesn't sound like a bad idea 💡 Does it?
Lowering cardiovascular disease is a wonderful benefit to hold on too.
BALANCE & COORDINATION -
Proving your balance is a great form of exercise. Keeping your balance and coordination in check can help with older age when falling and injury may acure.
ECO FRIENDLY-
What better way than to save gas and money for gas than riding your bike? You don't have to worry about burning oil either a polluting the air when riding a bike.
CANCER FIGHTER-
That's correct, riding your bike can put you in cancer free zone. Makes you less likely to get cancer, heart disease, stroke, and heart attacks. So keep up the riding for sure.
While riding bikes can put you in a better mood, and make you happier, all the benefits I listed are also being done. It's a great work out while also enjoying nature. It is one of the best ways to let stress go, and put mood swings at bay. So get to riding!
