Homeless Pets Need Love Too

From dog mom experience here, I have raise dogs all my life. I also saved other animals such as squirrels that had fallen out of trees. I had 3 at one time raised them since they was newborns. My grandma took my doll bottles and poked a hole in the tip of the bottle and we would feed them. I also had gold fish as well. I had hamsters, a ferret, and a flying squirrel that I found under our porch we had out back of my grandma's house. I am raising 3 beautiful yorkie terriers, and 2 beautiful cats me and mom adopted from our local animal shelter. I have a passion and love for animals specially ones in need. I also donate to ASPCA for animals all over the world. Being raised with animals made me who I am today. This blog is about helping the homeless pets in the world. I will list many ways you can help those in need.

These babies are scared, they have no where to go. They need our help, we have the mouths to speak when they can't.

Fostering- Go to local shelter and browse around. They have so many fur babies that need and want to be loved just like the ones you see in stores. Those that have been abandoned and left behind are searching for a family and a home with love. Fostering also helps the shelters with space for new babies they find.

Searching- When you see a pet that has been left behind on the street or in a alleyway don't try to approach them right off hand but if you have a cell with a camera snap the picture. That picture could save that babies life from danger or starvation. Post lost and found animal sites on Facebook, Twitter and any other social media that can help find the family of the missing. It can be as simple as the animal running off and just got lost, or it could be a abonnement. But what ever the case may be chose today to make a difference in their eyes.

Volunteer- Help your local animal shelters in your area. help them clean cages, and other places that need to be cleaned. Help play and socialize with the fur babies by showing love to them and taking dogs for walks and plays with cats with their cat toys. Show them they are cared for even when they are in a shelter. Help train them as well and help the babies that are scared and aggressive to be not scared anymore. It might take some time, but if you take your time and just sit with them and show them you are there. They will lighten up around you sooner or later. Just takes patience.

Donate- Donations to local shelters mean and help a bunch. You can donate money, cleaning products, unopen food products and treat bags, new toys for all sizes, shampoos and conditioners as well, as pet supplies, beds to sleep on, blankets as well, leashes, harnesses, and etc. Every little bit you can help with are a big help in so many ways. it will also make you feel good about yourself, make you feel good that you helped a fur baby in need.

Be kind- Be kind to all the animals even ones that are aggressive. They don't understand what is going on most of the time, and some have been abused. So they will be scared and not trust you at first. You must work your way to be trusted then they will unwind down. Those really are the best because it also lets the fur baby know that not all humans are bad after all. You never know how much showing love for them could change their lives including yours.

Bible verse that also can give you encouragement to care for animals.

Proverbs 12:10

A righteous man rewardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

These babies need our help, so do what you can to ensure you are just that help for them. God put them here for us, least we can do is care for them.

Crafts- Crafts are a great way to make it fun for the babies in the shelter. Help sponsor them help the shelter find loving 🥰 homes and family for them. You can create eye catching flyers and posters with the fur baby photo on them. Make sure to also dress the fur baby up.

Make a difference for these babies. They don’t deserve to be left out for any reason. They have hearts ♥️ too and care just like we do. They enjoy time spent with people who care for them. They enjoy outside, you can walk them and let them look and smell other places they may have not seen before. Even if the shelter has a small fence, get out and play with them and show them everything is going to be okay. And make sure when helping to search for good homes that you tags friends and family that will also support you and will help you find good homes 🏡
