How to be happy with the life you have now

At times we all want more to life than what we have. At times we see all our friends & family doing better or as we think we tend to look down on your life and start judging why we aren't where we would like to be. And at times that's where not having patience plays a big role in our lives. Things take time, and maybe God has something better in store for you that what you are wanting. I know being anxious is a rough feeling to have, but if you hang in there and let time be time, there might be a bigger blessing awaiting and all in different ways. Pray and seek God with 7 tips:

  1. Love Yourself- Love who you are and where you are at in your life right now. Don't be so hard on yourself. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes that may even set us 2 steps back. Life isn't easy but God can help give you strength to face obstacles that are meant to break you. So don't take every fail as a out. Because sometimes we have to fall to rise up where God wants us to be.

  2. Patience- We all need to have patience every now and then. Sometimes we need a big handful of patience. Think about this: God has patience with us when we fall short each and every time. If he didn't have patience would be doomed. But God has patience to work in us as long as it takes. So don't you think he can bless us with patience to wait on his timing. James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Psalms18:32 It is God girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

  3. Appreciation- Appreciate how far you have come in your life. The littlest step to you would be the most biggest steps for others. Always say you got this handled. Don't fret the small stuff. Just know God placed you where you are for a reason. And that the more time it takes to get where you want to be the more bigger blessing just might come out of it. Psalms 128:2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Appreciate how far God has brought you through and where you are now.

  4. Positive- You might not be where you want to be but be thankful your not where you use to be. look yourself in the mirror and say "I got this" even when things are hard. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. Many people will tell you negative things to bring you down and some will be there for you and tell you positive things. Pray for the people that are always negative because sometimes that's what they need in their lives. God knows all things and know each and every one of our hearts. He sees, hears, and knows what others don't.

  5. Courage- Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Don't be discouraged from things not happening when you them too. Some of the best blessings are when you wait. God knows what you need & when you need it. Pray & ask him for encouragement to keep going even when you have not seen a change just yet. He just might send you people you may know and some you may not know to help encourage you and lift your spirit as well. 1 Chronicles 19:13 Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the Lord do that which is good in his sight. Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.

  6. Believe- Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness. Believe that God will take you to far better places in your life. God will never leave you, nor forsake you. Believe that you can and will be better than you was yesterday. Psalms 119:66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge for I have believed thy commandments. Believe that God will continue to opens doors in your life, and if not in the timing you want praise him in the hallway till it opens.

  7. Faith- Have faith things will get better in your life and pray to be more faithful in the process. Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord thy god, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; Psalms 31:23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints; for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Psalms 36:5 Thy mercy, O Lord is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness readeth unto the clouds.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

That's a super tiny seed to us but to God that's plenty. He knows it can be a struggle to expect big things and not know the outcome or when it will happen. But God created us different in his image. God doesn't make mistakes, so always have faith he is at hand working your steps our for the path he has placed for you to walk.

Always put God first, he will direct each step you take in your pathway. You can talk to him anywhere at anytime. So don't be discouraged with how and where you are in your pathway. Everybody's steps aren't the same, some might take longer than others. But when you put your faith in God at any given time he will see you through. Stand still and know he is God.
