How to keep positive-Blog



Keeping a positive mindset can be hard in some cases and in other times can be easy. But keeping the mind from going negative can be done. If getting away from it all and relaxing to simply letting go and letting God. I know for me keeping positive is easy/hard due to my anxiety. But I know that God has me and I know he came make a change. In his timing ⏱ is perfection. Many of us enjoy the positive days because we love the feeling of not being dragged out with negative thoughts. Keeping a healthy mind is a must, and in this blog I’m going to list some thing you can do that will help on those negative days. Let’s get into it, shall we!



  • Staying a healthy is one of the best ways of keeping a positive mindset. Rather you go walking for 30 minutes a day to running 30 minutes a day. Mostly going outside and doing these activities rather than in a gym is best. Your eyes are seeing the world and which it itself brings a calming mood. Eating the right foods can play a role in positive moods and thoughts. Staying away from sugary foods and drinks specially loaded with caffeine is one of the ways to let go of negative health. Caffeine is the worst when it comes down to good health. It’s loaded with so many unhealthy short and long term risks. So making sure to stay away from caffeine would be a great step when trying to stay positive. Also if you have any disorders like anxiety or depression caffeine is a no no! Because anxiety and other mental disorders feed off of caffeine.

  • Traveling can be also a way to stay calm and positive. It can help with mood swings and as well distract your mind from the bad to the good. You can also learn new experiences while traveling the world.

  • Reading is another form of staying positive. Read a uplighting blog or book 📚 even the Bible can keep you on track of being positive.

  • Know your circle! Let me explain: keep away from others that always look down on things in life and so on. The people you are around has a lot to do with how you as well respond to things in life. Not saying that people can help being negative, but if they are that way constant and can't see a brighter side then that means they need to as well work on themselves to be more positive. But you can't change someone they themselves would have to want to change for the better. It's hard, but it can be done. Even music can be depressing depending on the type you listen too. Stay away from anything that brings down your energy to be positive.

  • Spending more time with family can also keep you in good spirits. Play a game at the dinner table, watch a movie together, and talk and laugh at old memories.

  • Another way to stay positive is doing self care. Take a hot bubble bath with your favorite book. Spend time doing things that you enjoy most. Rather it be listening to music, or watching your favorite show on TV, or even spending time with your pets. Pets can also bring positivity out of you while you are hugging them and playing with them.

  • Candles are another great way to stay positive. Having your house smell so good and the sight of candles lit at night can uplift your spirit instantly. It's something about it that just makes a difference.

  • Cleaning house is also a great way to boost your positive side for a positive day. Knowing your house is clean and smells good as well. It's relaxing but yet can take you right out of a bad mood in a second.

  • Sharing uplighting quotes on social media is another way to stay positive and spread it to others when they read them!

  • Don't focus on the bad, but stay focus on the good. When life throws lemons, what do we do? You know, we make lemonade. 🍋

  • Writing a journal is another great way to stay positive. You can write how you are feeling and how you choose to look at the situation and what you refuse about it as well. 📙

  • Painting is another form of keeping your mind away from negative thoughts to positive. Having the feeling of accomplishing something is one of the greatest ways to improve positivity. As well as seeing the many colors can also boost your mood. Colors have a way of enhancing senses and making your mind think good thoughts while pushing the bad to the side. It works, trust me!

  • Gardening is another beautiful way to keep your mind occupied from negativity. You can plant flowers around your house or even buy some plants for inside of your house just to boost the mood of coming home to a classy home. Also planting food, fruit tree and veggies to keep you healthy and save money!! It's a win win!! ☺

  • Crochet, knitting, sewing, and any other crafts you can do to keep your mind on track while making beautiful art pieces. Might even can sell them for money or start your own business doing so!! ☺

  • Shopping also is a great way to stay positive while staying updated with fashion, and house decorations. While you may need to budget to do so it can make you feel great to have a new outfit or two. Or get new kitchen sets, or bathroom sets.

  • Encouraging others is one of the best ways to keep positive. Because not only are you telling someone something that can uplift them but as well as you too. Helping others is so pleasing to the heart and can be uplifting for both you and the other person. 🌸

Being positive can be a great way to improve your personal health as well as your character. Others will enjoy being around you more as well. You would be light in darkness to others that are feeling down certain days. It's a blessing to be a blessing to others. Sharing the same energy with them and all over the world. 🌹
