How to stay focused on happiness -Blog

First off let me start by saying looking for happiness isn't going to found by searching. It's found when you decide to stop letting things get to you and start being happy with what you have and the right people will be there for you.

I have my days were sometimes I'm happy and then some days I'm emotional reck. But the truth is nothing can bring you more happiness then Jesus Christ. I have lived my life knowing now that a lot has changed since I was saved and baptized. Some days it can still be like poo. Not going to lie but Jesus never promised it wouldn't be hard. He promised He would be with us every step of the way.



Some of you may have things that you do in your daily routine that helps you to maintain your happiness. I will tell you mine and what has helped me.


  • Candles- I enjoy a nice day or evening with candles lit because it brings peace to me and specially when reading my bible. I enjoy the many smells stores sell and I have so many of them in my house I can literally say I have my own Bath and Body works company.

  • Bike Riding- I enjoy going bike riding on a nice sunny day. Not to mention getting my Sun vitamin in, it brings a relaxing and calmness to me. I enjoy site seeing and it keeps me in the best mood.

  • Walking- Walking is another way that helps me to stay happy. Walking is a good mood changer and can help balance out illnesses such as: anxiety, depression, etc.

  • Reading- I enjoy any form of reading rather it's a good romance novel, or my schooling, or my bible. But to be honest my bible is the main one I read most of the time. God can make just about anyone change their mood by the Word.

  • Animals- Need I say more? I love my fur babies and they as well help keep mood swings balanced. I enjoy walking my dogs in the park. I also have 3 cats and I enjoy playing with them making them chase strings on the floor. It's the cutest thing ever.

  • Essential diffuser- I personally run mine at night as most of my oils promote really good sleep and relaxation. I do have some that helps with being focused during the days. I will be the first to tell you this is a game changer as well. I enjoy my diffuser, and fyi it also helps promote rest for dogs and cats. I can tell you mine pass out every time.


Pretty much this is some of the things I do to keep myself healthy mental wise. I will also say that even just riding in a car with the music going is another way to boost your mood. I even do this myself. Even hanging with good friends can keep you focused on good thoughts instead of negative and bad moods. But if you are a loner like me then, I am here to tell you bible, and essential diffusers are my favorite and best for me.
