Out with 2021 In with 2022

Leaving behind the old and bringing in the new is what we all want and need to do. It's the best thing for some of us and helps us along the way. I'm going to list 5 things you should leave behind and 5 things to gain in this new beginning of 2022. Let's jump into this:

  1. Negative Energy~ Drop the negativity around you. All the bad thoughts 💭 and all the people that are bringing you down with all there negative problems as well are just distractions. Satan doesn't want anyone to have a life of joy. So the only thing he has left to do is fill your head with negative thoughts and make you act certain ways that normally you wouldn't act to distract you from the path God has for you. 1 Corinthians 5:13 But them that are without God judged. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

  2. Doubt~ When you are doubtful it makes you question if you should do something or not which make you waste time ⌚. I struggle with this myself, so don't let me fool you. I doubt a lot and it's not good for my or anyone else's mental health. God tells us not to be doubtful because we hinder ourselves form blessing that are suppose to be ours. Matthew 14: 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

  3. Fear~ When you fear things you stall yourself from what may be a blessing to you but you wouldn't know because your afraid to do so. Fear isn't of God. Satan loves to set people back in fear so they can't reach what God has in store for them. God wants you to be fearless when it comes to knowing God has you 100%. Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? God not going to let what isn't suppose to happen to you. So don't be fearful for believe in him as he will protect you.

  4. Anger~ Let go of things and people that have wronged you and made anger build up in you. People will target some that are the happiest because they aren't happy themselves. It's called Jealously for a reason, and it's the most disgusting 🤢 thing anyone could have in there heart. God want us to be slow to anger, and I know it's easier said than done. I am working on that still myself as well. But I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Psalm 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. Colossians 3:8 But now ye also out off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

  5. Gossip~ Gossiping is got to go in this new season. Satan is all about not watching your mouth 👄 and have you saying everything that he enjoys. God tells us to not gossip, to keep our mouths shut when it comes to wickedness. Romans 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing 🤬 and bitterness: Proverbs 8:7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

All these things are harmful to you in the long run, specially spiritually. People judge you and make remarks to and about you when these are a part of your life. And to be better you must do better. Pray and ask God to make a change in your life and heart. help you to walk more like him and less like you. Here are 5 things you want to gain this season:

  1. Love 😍 ~ Show more love for everyone including people that wrong you. God looks at that and will remember your good deeds on judgment day. When you show love to everyone not only is that the walk of how God wants you to walk but it also helps your mental status if you struggle from depression or any other kind of illness. Transform yourself into the best version of you and shock those who mocked you and hurt you. 1 Thessalonians 4: 9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love 😍 one another. Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is fulfilling of the law.

  2. Humble~ Humble yourself, God comes to the humble. If you humble yourself it makes you see life in a different perspective. To humble yourself is to wait on the Lord. Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Psalm 10:12 Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

  3. Wise~ Being more wise and seeking wisdom is the best thing you can do. Be more wise about life decisions and seek God for wisdom. Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

  4. Confidence~ Be more confident in yourself this year. 2 Corinthians 7:16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things. Pray for God to give you the confidence that you need. Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

  5. Forgiving~ Learn to forgive. Life is not promised forever it's short so learn to forgive and forget. If it still hurts ask God to heal those wounds. Being forgiving is very good character and it shows others as well that you are respectful to look past faults. Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Pray for these things to come to pass. Pray for the Holy Spirit to come on you. Seek God first all this year before doing or making decisions. Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
