As you may know that some plants are highly dangerous for animals if ingested. Many pets have a thing for eating plants, leaves, grass, and some flowers. But some are toxic for animals. They can even be fatal in some cases. That's why I am writing this blog to discuss which plants can be around pets.
The Spider Plant- Is a very beautiful green plant with a white-yellow stripe going down the middle. I enjoy these plants because they enhances room colors as well as pet safe.
Succulents Plants- These beauties come in very many colors and different shapes and sizes. They are safe around pets, some research says that pets don't like the smell or taste of them. And the plants are very easy to take care of. You can put them in window and they will compliment to look of the house from inside and outside.
Polka Dot Plant- These plants are very stunning as they come in pink/purple color and a green color with white dots on both colors. They are safe around animals and are breath taking to look at.
The Orchid Plants- are very beautiful and are easy to take care of as well. They are harmless around pets and are stunning for bathrooms and kitchens. They come in many colors as well and the also love moss around the top of pots.
Baby tears Plants- Are very green little tear drop shape plants that grow long in length. And look like a baby bush. They are cute in colorful pots and make the house calming with the color of light to dark green.
Date Palm Plants- These plants can get large so repotting is necessary. They are beautiful while giving your house a beachy look. I enjoy looking at these because they spread out and so green and beautiful. They as well are safe around pets.
Prayer Plant- Talk about beautiful green with a hint of light pink stripe and light green stripe design of each pedal. They are super cute plants and also need to be repotted they can get a little big but nothing like the Date Palm Plant. Safe around pets and also enhances the colors of rooms.
Boston Ferns- They green machines are wonderful source of air detoxing. They will keep the air fresh clean and it kills of allergens and other harmful particles in the air. They are pet friendly, so don't be surprised cat moms if your purr-baby decides to lay under the leaves and play with them. They love these plants.
Bamboo Plant- These plants are almost like the Date palm plants the leaves grow out and hang. The only difference is bamboo plants don't have points at the bottom as the Date Palm plant does. Repotting is necessary and they are pet friendly. Don't be alarmed if cat moms again, if your purr-baby decides to pounce on these plants. They enjoy slapping at the leaves.
African Violet Plants- Colorful beauties, and curious purr- babies love to taste these. They are pet friendly and won't harm cats. They are also beautiful for kitchens and bring out the wall colors.
Venus Fly Traps Plants- Safe around pets and are great interesting plants. They catch insects that are in the air. Distilled water may help the plants with catching insects as well. These plants have sharp teeth like points around the mouth of the plants which suppose to bring insects close for them to eat them.
Pepperonis Plants- These cuties have a unique design on each leaf and are very beautiful in living rooms. Also can bring out certain furniture's in houses. Safe around pets and are easy to take care of as well.
Bromeliad Plants- Are very colorful plants and are safe around pets. They also take a certain kind of soil that your pets don't like the taste of. Basically keeps them from the plants itself. They can get big 'so repotting is necessary and they don't need much care. Very easy to grow!
String of Turtles Plants- Okay, so these plants are super cute! Their leaves looks just like baby turtles! Super cute, and super pet friendly! They are great for hanging from ceilings in hanging baskets. They can get long so keeping them from being all over the floor can be necessary.
These are some of the plants that are safe around pets and are very beautiful. They are easy to grow and easy to maintain.
