What we forget about on Holidays- Send love to others.

We are all so caught up on what to buy for our spouse's and how to make their day better and special. We all go out and look for things we believe our spouse will love and cherish on those days. We even fight to get the last rose/stuffed animal on the shelf to just make sure our spouse knows we haven't forgot about them and the specific day it is. But have you ever just sat back and thought 💭 about those who are alone in the world? There are many of us that are missing a loved one that is no longer there. And often we have family members that forget to check in to show love to those who are alone. Some may not consider themselves alone as well. That's perfectly fine, the point I'm trying to make in this blog is that to still reach out and to show care for everyone not just your spouse. Thank God you are still here and your family and friends to even celebrate the special day with.

There are people out here that don't get to take their loved one's out for dinner. movies, shopping, and need less to say holidays. Because they are no longer with them. At times it can be hard for them to walk out and see others on valentines or any other holiday. Because of so much pain it cause's on those days. Many isolate themselves at home and not even come out all day until the next (just a day) day. It's sad but true. That is why we should all check in on everyone and making sure they are okay.

Reaching out to those who have lost someone dear and near to them isn't a bad thing. It's showing that person who you are as a friend or family member. Good character is the key 🗝 to happiness.

John 15:12

This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.

John 15:13

Greater love hath no man that this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Even sending a thinking about you card with a heart felt message in it, is a very nice to receive in the mail or even in person. Letting that person know you got them a card they can remember you by is heart felt and could mean so much to them.

Calling them is another great way if you are far off with others on holidays to check in and just chat with them for a few minutes. Caring that much to take time to call a loved one that might be feeling low never hurt anyone. So give a call and make sure they are okay and even pray over the phone with them. Prayers can move mountains that we alone struggle to move.

Texting is another way of contacting them to make sure they are okay. I would much rather call or go and check on them in person. But texting is good too, and you can send loving and cute gif or pictures with cute saying on them. Another good bible verse to send to those who are isolating themselves when missing someone dear to them that you can tell them:

Matthew 28:20

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

Letting them know they can reach out to God and seek them when missing a loved one on special days.

It can be hard for those who are brokenhearted 💔 and some may not say they need to talk or cry it out. So always be the kind and humble hearted friend or family member that makes sure they are okay. Ask them to go for a walk and get out of the house. Sometimes when walking and getting fresh air can help with depression. And if not then watch a movie or read the bible together and have a cup of hot coffee/tea. Spending time with those who are alone is very heart felt. Rather it be even for a minute to a whole hour. The thought 💭 will continue to go through their head that you came to see them and make sure they didn't need anything, and that you cared for them. Little things to us could be huge things to others. So step out and be different from others and check on your friends/family that you know are going through hard times. Even if you see a random stranger sitting alone and they look to be depressed and hurt go see about them. They may be going through different things than losing a loved one. But either way showing the kindness we all need to spread in this world is a huge plus.

If we could just spread kindness, love, hope, and faith around the world to many as we can, it would most definitely would be a better place. If we showed the concern and love like Jesus has, life would be much more better than it is today. Many of us are not caring for others like we should because we are so caught up on our own selves and our spouse's that we forget about others that have lost someone that once was in their life. That's where we all should make a change for the better. Pray for all those who are going through devastating times or are homeless and don't even have a family. Pray for this world and every one in it. God can show a way better love than any of us can show each other any day.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Psalm 73:26

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Isaiah 43:2

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

This topic alone should teach each and everyone of us to cherish everyone in our lives. Because life is to short and time flies by. Do everything you can for those that matter and are still here today. I felt the need to write this blog on this topic because I have so many of my friends and family that struggle with this issue. So do pray for those and keep near to them, as of none of us no the hours or days we have left on this earth. So make sure to spread love, and kindness as much as possible. You might just brighten one's day and them be gone the next. And because you took the time to care for that person that will always be special to remember.

Be Blessed!
