Why God needs to be the center of your Marriage

God will protect those that want to be protected. When letting God lead your marriage is a wise decision to make. Most relationships that are based off of so many things that God didn't attend for us. That's those that are letting God be the center of their relationship. When you have God in the center blessing come to you both in so many ways. Not only that but it builds strength and honor in your marriage. Teaches you how to love each other as Jesus loves you individually. Me and my husband serve a Mighty God, and we keep God first because we know what can happen when you don't. Satan can split your marriage up and you both can be spiritually attacked. Which happens to most relationships out here. They don't have the protect over their relationship to make it like the bible tells us too. Having God in your relationship can overcome evil and being spiritually attacked. Because both you and your spouse are praying together and alone as well. But either way you are still considered one when married. Which makes you both stronger and with God, Satan doesn't stand a chance. Here are some verses I found in my bible that I believe will help you understand more on why God should be in your marriage.

1 Corinthians 7:10

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

1 Corinthians 7:11

But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Ephesians 4:2

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Ephesian 4:3

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

1 Peter 4:8

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Ephesians 4:32

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Romans 13:8

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth hath fulfilled the law.

1 Corinthians 13:7

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Peter 3:7

Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

When praying together builds strength and encouragement your relationship needs when going through life together. As we all know we all have worries and ups and down that we go through. Some of us don't forgive and forget like we are suppose too. But when serving God, that's another story. Because God teaches us to love past flaws, and forgive for not their sake but for yours. When troubles come your way and your marriage hits rock bottom, that's when you discover how strong your marriage is and how much faith you have in it.

1 Corinthians 7:4

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

Always communicate with each other as well as when you pray to God. Talk your problems out and never go to bed angry.

Ephesians 4:26

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Ephesians 4:27

Neither give place to the devil.

These are all good reasons to have God in your marriage and keeping Him number one. God can healed marriages that are even on the divorce route before even actually doing it. You just have to trust God, because when you ask and believe in your heart, it shall come to pass. God will never forsake any of us. But remember faith without works is dead. So work on being the best wife/husband you can be for your sweetheart.

Be Blessed!
